Medical doctor, mother and lifelong seaweed cook Dr Prannie Rhatigan has written her first cookbook, The Seaweed Kitchen, which will be available in bookshops from September.
A native of the west of Ireland, the experienced GP grew up cooking with seaweeds, and the book includes a range of contemporary and traditional dishes including soups and salads, mains and sides, baking and desserts, and snacks and drinks. It also contains a detailed guide to identifying, harvesting and using seaweeds.
